Bullards Beach

Coquille River Lighthouse

Bullards Beach is a large park located two miles north of Bandon. The campground is nestled among shore pines and well protected from the strong ocean breezes. Well known for excellent fishing and crabbing opportunities on the Coquille River, the boat launch facilities are well-used during the summer and fall seasons.

Like many of the Oregon State Parks along the coast it offers a fairly easy hiking trail that gives you fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean and coastal brush. Once you reach the beach you can walk for several miles north along the coast. It is a fantastic trail for beachcombers. The fairly easy trail weaves through the open grassy fields and lowland forest across a plain to sandy dunes. All along the path are views of the beautiful Coquille River. Across the river from the trail is Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, sporting a variety of resident and migrating wildlife.

The historic Coquille River Lighthouse is located at the end of the beach access road in the park. From this point, there are over for miles of open beach to explore. You can mountain bike along the hard-packed sand along the edge of the surf or just enjoy a leisurely stroll on along the ocean shore. The park also has a 7-mile equestrian trail.

Bullards Beach offers visitors camping with full RV hookups, yurt stays, hiking , fishing, boating, biking, horseback riding, beach access, bird watching, and viewing interpretive and historic displays.
